At the front door of the Hotel Whitcomb, on Market Street, are the world famous restored historic trolleys, which go to Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, and Ghiradelli Square. Three blocks from the hotel (on Powell Street) is Union Square. On the far side of Union Square from the hotel is Chinatown, which is just a twenty to thirty minute walk.
