NativeEnergy Funds Wind Turbine in Colorado

NativeEnergy will fund the construction of a wind turbine in the small town of Wray, Colorado. The project began when Wray’s school district decided to build the turbine in response to economic hardships, hoping the development would push the town into a bustling clean energy economy, while reducing their annual energy costs.

The school district ran out of funding and Native Energy stepped in to ensure completion of the project. Native Energy is a leading marketer of high quality carbon offsets and renewable energy credits. Tom Boucher, president and CEO, describes the partnership, “This demonstrates our commitment to supporting only high-quality projects that have both a positive impact on the environment and the community.”
