Green For All Wants Your Feedback
Green For All has launched its new Business and Capital Access Program to create an extensive program to help businesses become part of the green economy. Green For All is asking all Green Business Network members to contribute to this effort by completing the online survey.
Thimmakka hosts “Greenest Restaurant” Competition
Thimmakka hosted the first “Greenest Restaurant” competition in San Francisco to bring awareness to restaurant owners and restaurant goers of the impact restaurants have on the environment. The Bay Area non-profit wants to expand this competition to other cities. To learn more visit their site.
Inkworks recieves American Printer Environmental Award
Inkworks Press won the American Printer’s Gold Award for “Best Environmentally Produced Product” for their book, Visions of Peace and Justice. The book was produced using high content recycled paper and vegetable based inks. The book also received the Gold Award from Printing Industries of Northern California earlier this year.
Socially Responsible Business Awards
at Expo East
The 14th Annual Socially Responsible Business Awards will be held October 16, at National Products Expo East at the Boston Convention Center. The event features Green America member, Clif Bar, with its founders, Gary Erickson and Kit Crawford, as the keynote speakers.
