Campaign Grows!
The Forum’s Capital Campaign continues to surge ahead, putting our goal of $400,000 ever more closely within reach. Thanks to the generosity of our members, we now have gifts and pledges totaling $323,225! Please see the list of donors to your right—and add yourself (or your firm/organization) to the list, if you are not already acknowledged, by making a contribution today!
You can make a gift online at www.socialinvest.org/capitalcampaign
or by sending a check to the Social Investment Forum, Capital Campaign,
1612 K St., NW, Suite 650, Washington, DC 20006.
We greatly thank our generous members for their commitment to SRI, to the Forum, and to our shared mission. The Capital Campaign is helping the Forum move to the next level of development through the hire of our first-ever CEO and it will lay the groundwork for expanding our programs and benefits and for attracting new members. In the years ahead we are planning to increase the clout and the reach of the SRI industry through the further development of our messaging and communications, expansion of our research, and by increasing our role in public policy issues related to the SRI industry. We appreciate our members’ partnership in bringing the Forum to this new level of growth and opportunity.

CEO Search Nears Finalization
Exciting news! As we go to press, the hiring process for the first-ever CEO for the Social Investment Forum, Ltd and the Social Investment Forum Foundation is drawing to a close.
We received more than 220 applications from a wide range of professionals. Our Search Committee, comprised of board directors and members, and working with the Egmont Associates search firm, has worked hard to identify a qualified CEO to lead the Forum in the years ahead.
We will announce the new CEO to the membership very shortly, followed by announcements to the media and the broader industry. Stay tuned for more details!
Special thanks to the Search Committee: Reggie Stanley

Election Mailing & Bylaws Update
In September, members will want to be on the look-out for the annual SIF Board Election Packet that includes our Annual Report—and that this year will include board-recommended bylaws changes needed for the organization’s hire of a Chief Executive Officer.
The election and votes on the bylaws changes will take place both by mail and at the Forum’s Annual Meeting at the SRI in the Rockies Conference at the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, CO, on October 29, 2006.
Friendly Reminder: New Membership Dues in Effect
If you have a Social Investment Forum membership renewal invoice
on your desk, now is the time to renew your membership! We have
a new membership dues structure in effect to help us keep pace with
the growing demands on our programs. This year members are also
able to earmark up to 30 percent of your dues for specific programs,
so be sure to identify the programs you most want to support in
2006!
If you have any questions about your dues level, please contact
Fran Teplitz at 202-872-5308.
