What We Do

Green America helps individuals use their shareholder clout to demand more socially and environmentally responsible practices and policies from publicly traded corporations.

Through our Shareholder Action Program we:

• Educate individual investors about the shareholder process and how they can vote their proxies in favor of social and environmental resolutions.
• Connect individual investors to campaigns to protect shareholder rights. Learn more about our recent victory.
• Build support from concerned consumers for shareholder campaigns, such as our letter-writing campaign to support the ExxonMobil shareholders climate change resolution.
